The Club is sited on land that was sold to the village for sports and recreational activities, by the Middleton Family, just after the Second World War. The green is only a few hundred yards away from Wollaton Hall and Deer Park, which was home to the Middleton Family up until it was sold to Nottingham City Council. The Club badge depicts the Elizabethan architecture of Wollaton Hall and the Middleton coat of arms.

Bowling

We are affiliated to the Bowls Nottinghamshire Association and play in the Men’s BN Tuesday 4X4 League and the Open BN Tuesday 3X4 League.

We are also affiliated to the Nottinghamshire Federation Bowling Association and play in the Mixed EBF Saturday 3X3 League and the Mixed EBF Monday 2X3 League.

There are several internal competitions throughout the season and many members enter County and National Competitions. The club has a good social calendar, which extends through the closed season.
